THE PROJECT
The Rule of Lead - La Regola del Piombo is an Italian award winning 70 minutes micro-budget film written, produced and directed in 2014 by Italian director Giacomo Arrigoni.
It’s a ghost story, a supernatural thrilling film that uses the language of cinema to deal with important social themes: children rights, universal love and human solidarity.
The movie won the Best Feature Film Award at the Miami Bright Minds Film Festival 2014, and a Platinum Remi Award at the Houston WorldFest 2015. This is the official website: www.theruleoflead.com
Giacomo is now working to produce a remake of The Rule of Lead, with a story set in the U.S. and realized by American cast and crew members: The Rule of Lead: Golden Spirit.

THE REASONS BEHIND THE CAMPAIGN
The original Italian version of The Rule of Lead - La Regola del Piombo was produced by Giacomo, who invested his own money to make the film, with a help from relatives and friends, like many directors in the history of cinema did with their first films: just to give you two names, Stanley Kubrick made Fear and Desire with money raised from friends and family and Christopher Nolan invested his own money to make his first directorial effort, Following.
For The Rule of Lead: Golden Spirit, Giacomo will have the support of American company Little Studio Films that has secured financing for part of the film’s budget and will also sell the film for a worldwide distribution, but he would like to keep the same independent approach he used before, this time giving you all the opportunity to build the movie with him and have a visible role in the social commitment of the film.
This campaign will help covering some casting, production, post-production and marketing costs of the movie and will be an opportunity to transform the message of the film into a real positive action: 10% of the net profits made by the movie will be donated to Save the Children.

Adamo was born in Manchester, England to an Italian Father and English Mother. Being a very shy child, he found an outlet doing school plays which eventually led him to join the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Through extensive travel he discovered a love of different cultures and helped him hone his talent for performing various international accents flawlessly. Since arriving to Los Angeles, he found his luck working on such hit television shows as Friends, Frasier, Two And A Half Men and others.
Not long after he began his work in film. Adamo made his commercial debut starring in the action-packed Mercedes Benz campaign directed by Rob Cohen (The Fast and the Furious). He can also be seen in high-profile spots for clients such as AAA, Pony and Range Rover.
In between projects Adamo works in real estate. He found a passion for house flipping introduced to him by his fiancé, Wendy.
His latest and most fulfilling role is being a dad to his first child, daughter Charlotte.

Akis Konstantakopoulos is a Los Angeles based Director of Photography who left his hometown in Greece and moved to the United States at the age of 17 to study the art of Cinematography. He graduated with honors in Visual Studies from Harvard University before attending the American Film Institute (AFI) for a Masters in Cinematography. While still at AFI, Akis served as a 2nd Unit DP for Phedon Papamichael, ASC on two films.
Akis has served as the DP on over 25 feature films of varying production sizes and has photographed such notable actors as Kevin Bacon, J.K Simmons, Alan Arkin, Jane Seymour, Nick Nolte, Cleau Duvall, Malcolm McDowell, Ving Rhames, to name a few. THE STEPS OF THE PROJECT
The film project with be presented at the American Film Market in Santa Monica in November 2016, (USA).
We plan to start shooting between January and March 2016.
We will bring the film at the Film Market of the Cannes International Film Festival in May 2016 .

What if we don't reach our crowdfunding goal?
We're not going to say this film isn't going to happen unless we get it. We will make The Rule of Lead : Golden Spirit in 2016, no matter what. However, we might have to make compromises in order to get the film funded in a more traditional way or to adjust the budget.
We plan to begin shooting in January 2016 or March 2016 at the latest. Upon completion of filming, we will submit the film to film festivals around the world. A successful run at a film festival can lead to crucial distribution deals.
• The PDF Script will be sent to you once the films has been released. This script may not be distributed, published, or sold at any time.
• For those of you visiting our set, we will contact you with additional details as they become available.
• For those of you acting in the film (Perks Silver Spirit and Golden Spirit), you will need to make yourself available during the production time of the film. We will provide 2 nights of Lodging and ground transportation.
• If you have a speaking role in the film (Perk Golden Spirit) you must be a US citizen or have a US work visa.
• To attend the VIP screening or visit the set you must be over 18 or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (who will count as you plus one).
• Some rewards may require additional paperwork. If you are appearing in the film, for example, you will be asked to sign a release.
• The Behind the Scenes video, the Official Soundtrack, the Prop from the set, will be sent to you at least 2 months after wrapping of principal photography.

Why are you asking my shipping address also in the digital perks?
- We need the shipping information, because that will include your region code (country) that we need for our VAT (value added tax) breakdown for accounting. On the IndieGogo page that is the only way to get that information from you. That’s why we are asking it in all the perks, even if they will be digitally delivered.

When will the movie be made?
- Filming is currently scheduled for the first quarter of 2016 and the post-production starts after that.
When will the movie be released?
- After the shooting is finished we start a post-production process that will take several months. There are VFXs (Visual Effects, CGI) to be done, sound post-production, color grading etc. We will send updates about every production step of the film and you'll always have fresh news directly from the director.
