The Salafist” – inspired by true events

Geronimo, a US veteran, returns to Berlin after a 20 year absence to reconnect with his married daughter now converted to Islam. When his ex-wife Pia, a feminist activist, fans the flames at a rally enraging a radical group of Islamists, both Geronimo and Pia realize that, once again, their lives are fatally connected – and there is no easy way to choose between what’s right and what’s wrong in times of clashing cultures and religious turmoil.

Financial Planning

In addition to our personal investments, we need to raise 50,000 Euro to finalize pre-production and start principal photography – including script breakdown, storyboard design and animation, legal fees, additional casting, set building, costume and props gathering, location scouting and permits, marketing, catering, rehearsing and shooting. If we exceed our goal, remaining funds will be carried forward to the next phase of production.
