How We Got Here
Ten years ago, I had a problem with the available energy goo’s, bars, and other commercially available options for sustainable energy during my cycling training and races. So I decided to create my own energy bar made of only the best ingredients that live up to my belief that simple is better.
I started in my kitchen handcrafting energy bars with just a food processor and a handful of items from my grocery store produce section—nuts, fruits, superfoods— and lots of muscle.
They caught on right away with my cycling buddies, endurance athletes, and people looking for a simple snack to keep them going. The audience and love for RBar Energy have grown over the years as parents, students, and working adults quickly adopted this alternative healthy snack to help them feed their pursuits.
