Since 1998, The Snowman's Land was initially thought of as an idea by Taylor and his brother, for a video game under a different title. Throughout the years, variations of the idea were drafted through short stories. In 2008, a
demonstration video game trailer was produced as a game development portfolio project. Shortly after, it was archived...until now.

The idea of bringing "The Snowman's Land" to the big screen was always more of a big dream compared to it being a video game. Although the game idea will never be completely ruled out,
Good Harbor Blue LLC Founder, Taylor A. Gradowski, believes now is the time to introduce this remarkable story.
With an extensive background in computer graphics, animation, digital film production, music, and sound, Taylor is ready to share one of his most beloved stories with the world. Through careful planning, use of today's technology mixed with classic filming techniques, and a diverse team of developers, Taylor believes this exciting tale can come to life.

BRIEF:A young boy wakes up in the middle of a Snowpocalypse, a world taken over by snowmen and other mythical arctic creatures. In this new world of danger and mystery, the boy searches for the cause of destruction, while finding his own inner strength to survive.
STORY IN DEPTH:During the blizzard of 2010, a phenomenal, catastrophic event occurred in the tourist town of Good Harbor. Old Man Winter, fed up with the human preference of warm weather, buried this beautiful place in snow and created a race of snowmen to take over the world. With the assistance of a traitorous businessman turned into a phantom and a sinister snowman, Old Man Winter builds his army for a successful takeover.
Awakened one late night by a thunder blizzard, a timid, young boy (A.k.a "Kid Blizzard") finds himself cold and alone. His parents are missing, his newly built snowman is gone and his world is lost in a white out. Blizzard is soon forced to survive this snowy apocalypse and discovers that he may be the only hope to rid this cataclysmic event. With a mission to find inner strength, courage and those he loves, Blizzard pushes on to unravel Old Man Winter's frigid schemes.
AUDIENCE:This is an action/adventure film for all ages. It will contain intense action sequences and imagery. Parental Guidance Suggested.

A film of this magnitude can be complete with your generous contribution. We plan to utilize tools such as Blender 3D, variety of Adobe editing software and the Unreal 3.0/4.0 engine to assist with our character and virtual environments. To ensure proper safety and legality in producing / releasing the film, a majority of the funds will be used to cover legal aspects. Most of the film equipment and software is currently available with minor upgrades for our editing stations to be needed (Ex. Processor update and storage). Cast and crew will be provided meals on long film days, and will also be compensated fairly for their time and efforts.
-
Funding - Primarily, funds would be for initial cast/crew, legal, insurance, licensing, and minor equipment upgrades. Our strict budget after taxes would allow us to produce the film in True High Definition and distribute independently on the web and DVD/Blu-Ray. As a wish list item, we'd love to celebrate a weekend or two at the movies in select locations by showing our film on the big screen in local theaters. (Wide theater release depends on funding and distribution deals)
-
Perks - This project and dream would not be a success without your help. Your generous contribution would be greatly appreciated and to show our thanks, we'd be honored to put your name on our website under the 'Contributor's' section and supply you with a link for a digital copy of the film shortly after it's initial opening / release. This is truly a big group effort and we encourage you to spread the word and to contact us as well. - Should this film become a huge success, we will always be sure to remember those who generously contributed to this production.
-
Short of Goal - We greatly anticipate reaching our goal and providing you a fun film for all ages. We further understand that there is a possibility that we may not reach out goal either. With that in mind, we would continue our journey to raise the funds needed to make this dream come true.
