Hey guys, Zach, Chris, and Ans here. A year & a half ago, the three of us played together for the first time.  It was originally just a short string of shows over a weekend in Southern California.  Three tours and thousands of hours of creative process later, here we are in the final stretch of completing  The Tragic Thrills 2nd LP!  We've already laid the groundwork; the songs are written and arranged and the recording dates are set for late October and November.  We are ready to execute and are excited and gratified for the opportunity to share it with you.  We are all committed to make this recording with or without backing, but if you contribute to our campaign you will help us to offset the recording costs which will allow us to do more with the record after it's recorded (touring, better album pressing, promotion, etc.)  You'll also be helping the overall economy by decreasing the probability of The Tragic Thrills becoming a burden to society. In order to produce, mix and master the album (it's ambitious but we are aiming for 14 songs!) our cost is upwards of $11,000.  The budget doesn't include travel out of area (studio), the pressing, promotion, or the unexpected.  Nevertheless, extra little details really matter to us and we'll be doing everything in our power to get as much quality out of this recording session as we can.  With your help, it's only going to make it better. 

People talk often about the 'state of the music industry', about streaming, and how record labels are changing. That's all clearly relevant to us. We won't be the last band that raises money through Indiegogo to help make an album. Our hope is to build on everything we've done until now in an open and candid way and that you will continue to appreciate and support our music in any way you like.  Thanks for your encouragement -- hopefully we'll be out to see you again very soon.
