Short Summary

Building on the success of the Travelling Book Project (funded by Indiegogo), the Travelling Tablet Project aims to send tablets around the world by people finding them, taking selfies, and then passing them on.  It's the Travelling Book Project without any of that awkward writing stuff.

And hopefully not stealing them.

What We Need & What You Get

So, I need at least £500 to buy a tablet that I'm going to leave around for people to find - or I might send it to contributors.  I haven't really decided.

You'll probably get nothing, except for a warm feeling that you've supported a project on April Fools Day.

The Impact

The impact hopefully will be that a tablet travels the world, getting selfies and videos from lots of people, and then somehow gets back to me. And then I get a tablet full of peoples faces.

If I do get the tablet back, I'll upload all of the pictures to the internet for people to see!

Risks & Challenges

Well, the tablet might get stolen.  Theoretically there's lot of software that can track tablets, so I might look into putting one of those apps on it.

Or, it might just run out of juice.  I'll stick a label on it that people can read so that they know what's going on.

And it could just break.
