The Underhanded Free Throw
"The Underhanded Free Throw" is the story of a wealthy widow who when confronted with a secret from her past is forced to face some hard truths about herself.
WRITER - Cynthia Wikler
My last film, "Coming Clean," was nominated for and won several awards. It is currently having a successful run in film festivals around the country.
"The Underhanded Free Throw" is my third short film. Each of my films address social issues that I believe are relevant and meaningful in today's world. My hope is that we are able to draw a greater audience with this film through improved production quality.
Meeting this goal requires high standards in cinematography, crew, sound, equipment, editing, music, locations and a cameo appearance by a recognized actor.
CO-DIRECTORS: Tony Savant and Shaun Paul Costello
Tony Savant, director of Playhouse West-Philadelphia acting school and award winning writer and director, will be co-directing The Underhanded Free Throw along with producer, actor and director Shaun Paul Costello.
Check back soon to see a video of Tony explaining why he was keen to direct this short film and happy to lend his support to this project.
