Why do bad things happen to good people?
The crash of the dollar precipitates widespread rioting and social unrest throughout the nation, leaving a lovesick 17-year-old girl struggling to care for her siblings in a stretch of woods bordered by lawless anarchy, wondering why a good God would let this happen.
The Y - a film for our time
Cinema is one of the most powerful ways to impact our culture for God. As recent Christian movies have proven, we can stand up for the truths of God's Word and simultaneously compete with secular film-making quality and dramatic impact.
What people are saying about The Y:
"Spectacular! This story really moved me." - a local film production company CEO
"Quite the thriller! Intense!" - Paul Munger, director of Princess Cut
"This is the most compelling script I have read in a long time." - Ben Botkin, composer
"The Y carries a strong prophetic message for our nation. This is a movie you must see if you want to know why America is in the state she's in and what it will take to restore her to righteousness." - Rusty Thomas, Actor and Operation Save America director
The Message
The Y is a Christian action film that explores the age-old question of "Why would God let bad things happen to good people?" We will honor God and uphold the biblical worldview as we provide answers to this question that unfortunately spoil the faith of far too many. It will be a family friendly film with no sexuality or foul language. In this action-packed adventure, we will also:
- Exalt forgiveness and mercy as preferable to judgment,
- Lift up God's standard of civil justice that secures the God-given rights of the innocent,
- Defend the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms,
- Encourage the safe use of firearms, and teaching their use to youth,
- Encourage preparedness for potential crises that may be soon coming to our nation,
- Encourage trusting in God through suffering, and relying upon His Word for the remedies we desperately need.
