Short Summary

• Over the last six years we have gigged, recorded, and toured under the name "They Call Me Hero," searching for a reason behind the music we created. Through that we have encountered hundreds of people from diverse backgrounds and this has shaped the way we create music. With this new found purpose came a new found identity, "Tolstoy." Through relationships we have found musical inspiration and a purpose to write music that not only provides catharsis, but also confronts the issues head on. With this newfound purpose came a newfound identity, "Tolstoy."
• Over the next four or five months we will be producing a single at an internationally acclaimed studio under an internationally recognized producer. We will also be filming a professional video under the guidance and direction of several professional videographers. Our goal is to raise $5000 in order to help us begin this new era of musical creation and artistic endeavors in the best way possible.
• With your help, we believe that high quality video can be made, that high quality music can be made, and that real life change can happen.

What We Need & What You Get

Here's the breakdown:

• We will need $5000 which will go to the production of the single, music video, merchandise and other necessities of starting a band from the ground up.
• Our perks range from merchandise like CDs, shirts, & stickers to being in the music video, an invitation to our private screening of the music video & acoustic show, or we can come play your wedding.
• If our full goal is not reached we will use the funds to produce the highest quality single and music video available to us within those budgetary constraints.

Risks & Challenges

We understand that giving to a project that you have not heard is scary. However, we do believe that the mission of creating music that speaks directly to the human condition is important and so we would ask for your trust and support in this endeavor. That being said, you shouldn't feel scared about where your contributions are going and how they will be used.
