Are you familiar with the New Uncia DLP 3D Printer? That's because we have done a successful project on Indiegogo early this year(see here) to help people know more about DLP 3D printer, and to provide a more pleasant user experience, we have upgraded our printer in aspects of both hardware and software. Now it's time for every one and schools to get involved and enjoy!
We upgraded Uncia, because we never stop pursuing its perfection. However, improvements cost us more than what it used to be, and your contributions will help us manufacture this high quality product (using only the best components) in large quantities, therefore decreasing the cost of each individual unit. Only with a rather low price, 3D printers could truly be introduced into people's home to let every one experience the delight it brings. We think it cruel to see that people's creation couldn't be realize, limited by the price of printers.

Upgrade for Uncia
Since our last successful project, we've been gathering feedback, suggestions and of course complaints =) from all our backers through mails and forums, which are the momentum for us to improve our products and service.
Hardware
Upgraded Projector
We have replaced our previous projector with a brand new one, and it is calibrated and fully automated, with which Uncia could provide excellent stable beam and high precision with the right settings. Longer product life could be achieved too by the improvement of the system.

Our stepping motor is now manufactured in Germany with reliable quality, which enables Uncia to have a long-running operation. With the support from a top-level manufacturer in Taiwan, we have one of the best guide rails in the world to improve printing success rate significantly. We have also added a small equipment attached to the back to ensure the safety of electricity use.

With the best cost-efficiency of our printer, we believe that Uncia is most suitable for families and educational institutions. However, the concept of 3D printing is not extensively introduced to people in Asia as it is in Europe and U.S., so we feel the responsibility to spread technology to schools as apart of the 3D printing trend. After all, making technology serve every ordinary person is our ultimate goal, while helping us on this project can make it happen!
Asia schools are all welcome to visit our website to join the project!
Once $299 printers are all gone, we will donate 1 Uncia printer.
Once $599 printers are all gone, we will donate 1 Uncia printer.
Both $299 & $399 printers are gone, 5 more will be donated.
Both $599 & $699 printers are gone, 5 more will be donated.

Risks and Challenges
We have made improvements to Uncia, but it could be introduced to all only in large quantities, so that we are not sure if you guys could receive the upgraded Uncia at the lowest price on the market, and enjoy its perfect user experience.
If the goals on "Free Uncia for schools" can't be reached, many schools lost the opportunity to get to know 3D printing and students can't have fun with Uncia.
