Ramadan Tent Gatherings

One of the platforms where people from all cultural and religious backgrounds get to interact, communicate and share values is at our annual Ramadan Tent gatherings here in Sunnyside, Queens.

In light of the spirit and meaning of Ramadan, TCC Queens has been setting up a Tent in a nearby Public Park to serve free food each day at the end of fasting for all those in the community regardless of their religious beliefs. (Daily 1000 people)

As mentioned above, Ramadan is also an opportunity for us to strengthen ties with family and friends in our community, share our thoughts and experiences while sitting  at the same table and enjoying dinner.

Every year, our sense of community and friendship grows stronger with the popularity and success of this event. Our goal is to extend the duration and size of the Ramadan Tent to be able to reach more people in our community, establish ties with people whom we haven't yet met, make friends and introduce ourselves and our culture to promote dialogue, understanding and coexistence.

The event will be held on

June 28th and June 29th.

Queens Boulevard-Under 7 Train between 45th st and 46th St

Turkish Sufi Music Concert by Amir Vahab before the dinner on June 18th at 7pm.
