What The Movie Is About
The 2 main characters of the movie, Ricky and Jason, tired of crap jobs and having no money, travel from Orlando, FL to Hollywood, CA with only $500 in their pockets in hopes of achieving their dream of having their television show idea made a reality. Along the way, they find themselves on a road to crazy adventures and total misfortune. Out of this world situations arise that push their patients, their emotions and their friendship.
If you have a crap job, seem to have the worst luck in the world, or just need to laugh at other peoples expense, then 2 Guys and a Movie will be a must see for you.
2 Guys and a Movie will be filmed in a "found footage" point of view as well as a traditional point of view for not only a unique viewing experience but to really get a feel on what Ricky and Jason are going through. Think of "The Blair Witch Project" meets "The Hangover" when thinking about 2 Guys and a Movie.
2 Guys and a Movie is written, produced and starring Ricky Di Maio and Jason Crawford, 2 guys who relate very closely to the characters Ricky and Jason in the movie. We want to make a movie that takes our audience on a first person point of view trip across America and give them an adventure and laughter like they have never viewed in a film, all while telling a good story of the American spirit, friendship and why you should never give up.

We Are Going To Make This Happen
Whether we raise $20 or $7000, we are going to make this movie happen! We will be filming most of it around the central Florida area, have no special effects and our cast and crew are all working for the experience. We already have an amazing team on board and when the crew is complete, it is going to be the best crew ever involved in a film and we will have the most fun a film crew has ever had while making a movie.
We have several versions of the script in hand, depending on how much money we raise. No matter which version we use, this is going to be a great movie, that many, MANY people can relate to. Once the film is complete, we will be entering it in film festivals in Orlando, FL, Clearwater, FL, Tampa, FL, Miami, FL, Philadelphia, PA, New York, NY and Las Vegas, NV. We will continue to hit the film festivals until we find a distributor for the film and it is released world-wide!
What We Need & What You Get
What we need, is what everyone needs, MONEY! You have no idea how much even a donation of $10 will help us. As we mentioned, we have several versions of the script to use, depending how much money we raise. We are currently working with several major companies for product advertising opportunities which could be a great help to our budget, but in the mean time, we need help from our friends and family to launch the filming of this movie!
Filming in the central Florida area, will help keep our costs down. We got many friends and family helping us out for set locations and various props and other items. We need money mainly to rent 2 nice cameras, lightning and sound equipment as well as money to cover permit costs for filming.
