Hi guys, it’s Cherie Deville and Aaliyah Love, my best friend in the whole world is having the hardest time of her life right now. I am starting this fund to help her and her family pay the basic bills they have not been able to pay in the past several months.

Just a few days ago Aaliyah's mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. Her mother had been fighting cancer at home for months before eventually succumbing. Her family lovingly cared for her at home, spending all of their time and money to make her comfortable. Even after insurance paid 95% of her medications, it still cost her family $1,100 a month just on meds alone, and that is only scratching the surface of the money spent. Aaliyah and her father have both taken months off work. Aaliyah has spent massive amounts of money traveling across the country weekly to spend time with her mother and help her father and younger brother with the expenses and care of her mom. Additionally, at the end of her mothers life, when her mental faculties were fading in and out she gave away large sums of money without Aaliyah or her father knowing about it until it was too late. Both her and her father have taken so much time off of work to be with her and care for her in her final days, and now they are without her and left with oppressive medical bills and funeral costs that are crushing them.

It is a situation I never wish anyone to ever face, and now my best friend is dealing with it every day. She has brought so much joy into my life, and if she has brought sunshine into your life, put some sunshine into hers.
