Dario Fo and Franca Rame wrote these two plays in 1979, but they have never felt more relevant than now.
We will perform both plays simultaneously, but with two visually different themes and flavours.
These plays tackle the struggles of female liberation eloquently and humorously, and we feel our passion behind female empowerment, and our experiences and versatility as actresses will allow us to redeliver the play with a modern twist.
This project is not only important, it is also necessary.
Following the recent Weinstein scandal, we know the world is ready to hear our truths and fight against these intolerable ongoings that occur not just within our industry, but across all walks of life, to all women of all colours, sizes and ages.
More importantly, we are ready to generate awareness and show the world that women have a voice. Things NEED to change. #TimesUp
