Some people think strays shouldn't matter. People walk and drive away from one that is sick/injured or struck by a car. The heart of those cats may still belong to someone. Even if they don't, they are still living and breathing and deserve medical attention when necessary.
Angel was struck by a car and left on the side of the road. Lucky for Angel, she was found by someone having compassion and took her to the hospital. Currently Angel is unable to move or eat due to a broken sternum, has a few lung punctures & weighs 3# due to malnourishment. She is estimated at only 4 yrs old. Putting her down may be a viable option, but as weak as she is, she is fighting to stay alive! She knows someone finally cares! She is spending a few nights at the hospital to get proper nutrition and medical treatment. A few days will not heal the sternum but will help her to get some strength back to help her into real recovery and give her the support of someone finally caring what happens to her.
Her foster home is looking for enough funds to cover her stay at the hospital, which is estimated at $600-$700 for 3-4 days. After that she can finish her recovery in that loving foster care until she finds her forever home.
