I am a bipolar survivor who uses music and writing to channel the ups and downs of my condition. When I find things that inspire me, I keep them in my workspace so that they are easily accessible. Recently I was fortunate to move to a space that has a floor I can dedicate to my art, music, and writing. Only thing there are plenty of bare walls. So I was reminded of a local Austin artist I met at an event, Dawn Okoro, who had artwork of vibrant reds and yellows that caught my eye. I got the chance to meet her and have followed her ever since. I couldn't afford her art at the time but with this campaign I can help fund her dream life as an artist and purchase inspiring art for my studio.
