My name is Ashley Brooks and
I am plan on releasing my debut album, “Anchor For My Soul”, fall of 2015!
I sit here writing this
terrified and ecstatic all at the same time. This is the scariest and most exciting dream
that God has ever placed in my heart, and it’s time to go after it. My goal as
a songwriter is to write songs that simply help people fall more in love with
Jesus and help people connect with the heart of God through music. I want to
reach the most broken of people with music and lyrics that are honest, real,
and full of hope. If this album reaches one hopeless person in their darkest
night, it is worth it to me. My heart is to write lyrics that are the words people could not find on their own to say to God. I believe
that music gets to the heart just about faster than anything else, and that’s
why I want to spend my life creating music that impacts people.

I will be offering some perks to add incentive for you to
donate! I am so grateful for whatever you are able to give financially to help me pursue this dream! If I can reach my fundraising goal, I will be able to make this album
everything I've been hoping it will be! Any funding I receive past my goal of
$5,000 will go towards my future musical endeavors, including more studio time
for more recording, an official website, and paying musicians for additional
shows.
