In 2015, series 9 of the popular TV show Doctor Who aired. It marked Peter Capaldi's second year in the show and as the title role of the Doctor. Throughout the entire series, he gave the performance of a lifetime. The most notable episodes are "The Zygon Inversion" and "Heaven Sent." Sadly, during the 2015-2016 awards season, Peter (and the rest of the cast and crew) were snubbed.

This role has been a dream of Peter's and throughout his run, he hasn't been given the recognition he deserves. This award is meant to show him that we recognize his unforgettable and touching performance. It is meant to show him that we appreciate him and the work he has put into this role. 

If we go over the goal, the rest of the money will be donated to the Association for International Cancer Research, a charity that Peter supports.   

A list of all who donated will be sent to Peter along with the award. There is also a scrapbook planned to be sent to him. If you would like to have a fan work or letter featured in it, email pcapgift@gmail.com.
