Baton Rouge Family Lost Everything in Flood
The Zolkiewitz family -Janet, Eddy, and Rebecca- of Tanglewood Dr. in Baton Rouge lost all in the recent floods. Their house took over 50-inches of water, both cars flooded and a boat rescue was needed. There was no time to save anything, the water came too fast.
Like many in the area they didn't have flood insurance because they weren't in an official floodplain.
Janet is a Weber girl, sister to Steve, David and Mary Weber, Cindy Hill and Nancy Mullen.
If you are looking for a personal way to help those ravaged by this historic flood, consider family. They have always been there for others and now could use our help. Your contribution won't bring back lost family mementoes or drowned pets, but will help ease their recovery.
This fundraising site takes no cut of proceeds and is secure for debit/credit card use.
All funds contributed will go directly to family. Thanks to all.
The picture is of the general Baton Rouge area - there are no photos of the Zolkiewitz home.
