Funding The Production

On Location in East L.A.

East Los Angeles has a wonderfully distinct look, and we look forward to shooting our entire film on location in the neighborhoods there. We carefully scouted each location and made sure they each go to story and suggest something about character.

We want to obtain the highest level of authenticity and naturality.

Associate Producers

Josof Sanchez and Julie Matsumoto of Operation Street Kidz, a community-based non-profit organization, have helped tremendously, starting from the very early stages of pre-production. Their invaluable resources and relentless encouragement has made this film possible.

Two young boys associated with their program have been cast as major characters in the film!

The Goal is to have Bird screened at film festivals, both domestic and international
