ABOUT 'BLACK CULT'

 'Black Cult' is an indepth look at a charismatic young leader who is a former stripper and male escort turned cult leader and so-called Messiah. This black version of what we like to call our 'Tiger King' is a rollercoaster of emotions, fears, arrests, abuse and lost souls.  This boarders on trafficking as many of the women are young and looking for something in their lives. Many come from broken homes and inner city areas. Set in multiple countries from Costa Rica to Panama we will follow the trail and the stories that lead us to his cult now living in Atlanta as they try to live under the radar. His escape Babylon message is now replaced by a nice home in Atlanta. This story will blow you out of your seats, we will create a three part series that will be one hour long each episode, for a total of three hours. This series will blow you out your seat and is currently active and is a daily ride being played out in real time. 

• We are award winning filmmakers and producers. We have shows that air on such networks as Discovery, FYI, PBS, COX Network just to name a few. We have chosen this platform to raise funds to be able to create a project that can be funded by people who want to help bring attention and potentially stop and expose this man and this cult before they can do more harm. We are passionate about our projects and they are more about helping people and their health and exposing the wrongs in healthcare. So we would love the help from the people

• This campaign needs to be funded and to bring this cult to an end. The cult is based on polygamy and many of the women are young and from inner cities and broken homes. When we think that there can be some young person that will  soon be recruited to become one of his wives it shakes us to our core. Many leave with kids, mental, verbal and physical abuse. We have a list of women that have left this cult and are ready to help tell their stories and bring this monster down.

• Your contributions will allow us to shoot, edit and air the project on some major platforms. We have contacts with many of the big digital platforms. This story must be told, and with your backing we will be able to paint the narrative without any network pushing the story. The voices have to come from former insiders and from people that have gained trust in the community.

OUR ASK FROM YOU AND WHAT WE WILL DELIVER

• We have a powerful track record in film and TV, we have won awards around the world, and most of our projects are health related with a strong focus on people and their stories. We will use the funds to travel, shoot in certain cities and meet the former and current members in the cult. We will also visit some of the countries where they’ve lived, and where they currently have a place in Puerto Rico and Atlanta. There are scores of players that are currently trying to bring him and this cult down, and we will interview them and the former members and their families. We will work with some lawmakers to see if there are any loopholes to help expose and put a stop to this cult before any more damage is done.

• One of our perks for some of our contributors will be attending the screening and also having an opportunity to be on set. This is truly a community movement and we want to include you in each step. This docuseries will have a quick turnaround and will be shot in a few months, edited in a few months and aired in a few months. We aim to air on platforms like Hulu, Amazon Prime, Tubi and more. We have an option for Netflix but we will look at what's best for the project. We look at the project being ready to air by June or July.

• Our goal is 200k. If we don't reach that goal we will still be able to get the project done, we may have to cut out a country or two but we will still be able to keep a small crew and get the interviews and put together a powerful story in the edit.

THIS IS A MUST GET DONE PROJECT 

• The world has changed in many ways, part of the allure with this cult is fame and being seen, with everyone wanting some internet fame on such platforms like Tik Tok, instagram videos or Only fans and more, we feel many of the people that are attracted to being part of this cult is the allure of being seen on social media. He uses social media to bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars and has a very big following. Many that join seem to have an agenda and want to be involved for the wrong reasons, he is a very charismatic man that has a dominant personality that seems to attract broken women. We want to expose some of this in the film, this can also be a way to help expose this cult, they have raised hundreds of thousands and we want to look into the money trail, we want to find out, have they paid taxes? Has he paid child support? We would love to bring attention and get some of the right people looking into this. This is borderline trafficking and can lead to everything from sex work to leaving their kids behind as many have already done. We have to be creative in our approach to exposing him and this cult, we also have to make sure he does not get wind of this film and our efforts before we get all the footage needed. We wanted to try and keep certain names and details out for the sake of not letting them know we are coming.

• We don't want to over burden you with a ton of information, pictures and links right now, one reason for that is because this is what we do, we make amazing projects as you can see by our company website,  this is not a try, this will be done in a very short time and you will see this doc and know that you helped in some way get this project done. We don't want to oversell or have a bunch of bells and whistles to sell this, we trust this audience and know they can tell a quality project.

• One great thing about who we are, we have an excellent track record, we have amazing relationships with many networks and platforms, meaning if you contribute you know this will be seen, we are biting at the bit to get started and to make a quality series that can help people and expose wrong.
• We have a great small team that is very excited to get started on this, we have two amazing editors ready to get started, when we get the funds we will start shooting, edit right away and set up a network for not only national but international distribution as we have deals with syndicators.
