We are NightLight Media Productions, an ambitious group of film students at Michigan State University. Over the last 6 months, we have been stretching all our creative potential into crafting and developing our film, Blacktop. And with our production phase wrapped, we believe that we have made something special.

Blacktop is a film about the line that we as individuals walk between life and death. It challenges the infinite mystery of what happens in the end. And given the current socio-economic state of American society and its people, some voices are hushed by forces that were originally developed to protect us. With our film, we want to give a voice to those who have lost their own.

We have been blessed by our college with funds to see this project through pre-production and principal photography. But in order to share our film with the rest of the world, we need you to contribute.

The funds we receive from you will go a long way toward achieving our goals. Your contributions will be utilized in the following ways:

• Hiring a professional music composer to score Blacktop will make the film's tense moments resonate with you long after you leave the theatre. 
  
• The cost to graphically design logos, posters, and font is a necessity to present our film to the public in a visually engaging manner. 
  
• Aggressively marketing Blacktop attracts viewers, impresses film festival programmers, and raises awareness for the social issues the film addresses.
  
• A local premiere for friends and family is our opportunity to show off the final product of all our hard work.
• We dream to show our work in film festivals all around the United States and beyond. Unfortunately, submission fees can be expensive and as students, our financial resources are limited.
