When we launched the Wee Black Book, the first thing people asked us was how they could get print copies of it. And that gave us a bit of a dilemma.
With no independence referendum currently on the horizon, we didn't want to blow the Wings Fighting Fund on something that had no tangible goal, and when we asked readers they agreed with that view but they still wanted print copies.
There's also the issue that the huge ad-hoc network that distributed the Wee Blue Book during the 2014 referendum doesn't really exist any more - people have lives to get on with and can't spend days on end driving all over the country with vanloads full of boxes of books.
So this time we're making it personal. For the Wee Black Book, we've decided to make it available in small quantities at subsidised cost, so that rather than having thousands sent to centralised hubs and having people fight for them, anyone can get a couple of dozen for friends, family, workmates and neighbours, for just a few pounds to cover (most of) the price of printing, postage and packing.
Then you can use them however you see fit, and in your own time. Target every copy carefully at someone you think could be persuaded, or just fire them through every letterbox in your postcode at random and hope for the best - it's your call.
And that's pretty much that.
