Short Summary
Borders Brothers is a film that has already been completely shot! We just need to get the sound and color correction completed to release this film. The awesome thing is if we hit our $4,000 goal Cinertain has offered to show the film at the Cinertain Drive-In. That's right a Drive-In Premiere of Border Brothers!!
- My Name is Rickey Bird and I am the director/creator of Border Brothers. I have directed a few short films including Naked Zombie Girl and Mable, both of which had funds raised here on Indiegogo.

This film has already been shot! We just need to get this film sanded and polished. That means a fast turn around to see the project. Plus we have some awesome perks too!
- This campaign is important to all of us that worked on the project. It has been a long process putting together a feature, but now we are sooo close!
- We are in this together. Even if you can only donate 5 bucks, your name will be in the end credits of the film.
What We Need & What You Get
We need to get this thing finished, but we can't do it alone. Well, unless any of you know of a money fountain... Well if you did, you probably wouldn't tell us about it anyway... So while the rest of us experience the money fountain drought...
- We need this money to get the film color corrected, sound design completed and just a basic clean up from someone that knows what they are doing.
- If you help us out so we can get this project going, then we can hook you up, from T-Shirts to ugly bumper stickers!
- And like we said before, if we don't hit our goal we still continue with the project.
- Our first goal is $4,000. But we would like to get more to pay for film festival entries and to hook you guys up with some awesome perks!

If we hit $2,000 dollars, we will release a clip from the film to contributors only.
Once we hit $3,000 dollars, we will release another clip from the film to contributors only.
Once we hit $4,000, Cinertain will allow us to show the film at the Drive-In in Bakersfield, CA.
Once we hit $4,500, a limited Bonus Perk will be announced.
Once we hit $5,000, we will have a red carpet event in Southern California. Bonus ticket perks will be available.
Once we hit $7,000, we will do an online premiere for Indiegogo contributors.
The Impact
This is a powerful comedy. It deals with some major topics like immigration and marijuana. Two topics you can't turn your TV on without hearing something about. This comedy also deals with language barriers and how they effect relationships. The best way to tell a conversational story is through comedy and Border Brothers does exactly that.
- We hope people will find a way to enjoy other people's differences and laugh together.
- We need more films that talk about these topics. You can help get this one seen by the public!

Risks & Challenges
We have had a lot of challenges with this project, but it is time for the world to see it!
- We shot this film for next to nothing 3 years ago and now all it needs is a little bit of a coloring face lift, some sound design and some extra cutting.
- With your donation, you put us one step further to completing this film and getting it out to audiences. Why? Because that's why we made it.
