Let's make this happen Brantford!

Photographer Brian Thompson is the guy that shows up to everything that happens in Brantford and captures those special moments that would otherwise be lost forever.

He's likely snapped a picture for you personally or for the newspaper that has become a cherished family moment proudly taped to the fridge or framed in the family room.

As a community we have so many pictures and memories that he has captured for us.

Unfortunately he has lost the last 4 years of his personal work when his hard drive crashed this week. It's going to cost him $1,100 plus HST to get the data recovered which he's not in a position to make happen.

It's not about the tech. Yes there are backup solutions that can prevent this sort of thing...

Here's the bottom line:

Imagine an artist losing 4 years of his life's work and a chance to possibly get it back.

That's what this is about.

Brian has given us so many great pictures over the years, it's the least we can do to make sure he gets his own back and maybe learn a few things about taking great pictures from him in the process!
