WELCOME BACK TO PLANET CHRISTMAS!

Last Fall, we successfully funded our comic BRIC-A-BRAC #2 and the year before we funded #1.

We're attempting to crowdfund the 25-page THIRD issue of BRIC-A-BRAC with this campaign! This book is written and co-created by Ryan Haack, fully illustrated (and co-created) by Rafael Sam, and lettered by Erik Hodson! Help us make this a reality! 

THE WAGES OF WAR!

The Nutcrackers have never been closer to taking over Planet Christmas! Since the ignominious Caesar Dimitrius supplied them with advanced weapons and technology, the wooden soldiers have been an unstoppable force against the under-equip militias and civilians who desperately fight to defend their homes! 

But all of that is about to change. The war is about to shake up permanently! 

Dimitrius has been tricking the Nutcrackers all along, and he's about to pull out his ace in the hole...a mechanism known as the SOLSTICE EATER!

Our main hero Garret is desperately searching for Father Christmas, the man he believes can save everyone from this madness. But finding him has been way harder than he could ever imagine. On his journey, he will meet Good King Wenceslas and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future!

WRITER/CO-CREATOR: RYAN HAACK

My name is Ryan Haack and Christmas has always meant something special to me. It's a time when the world is filled with meaning and tradition. I've always thought of it as an aspirational time to reflect on how you can become the best version of yourself. I created BRIC-A-BRAC partly due to my obsession with Star Wars and the Rankin-Bass holiday specials. But I also wanted to create a story that forces a boy to become a young adult through the lens of a war on a Christmas planet! I am looking forward to getting this book funded, just as we have with the other issues! I feel that this is an important story for children and adults to read! 

ARTIST/CO-CREATOR: RAFAEL SAM

Born in São Paulo, and raised in Recife (PE), Rafael Sam has worked as a freelance illustrator and comic artist for 9 years. He has worked in the area of textbooks and also comic books, in cartoon style, concept art, and has made scenes for animations. Some time ago, he worked for DreamWorks Animation's comics division, where he made 3 editions of the Madagascar title. He recently worked on the catharsis-funded Black Desert author project where he made the official launch at ccxp 2018. His Instagram is @rafael1234hc.
