What is CARtoons Magazine?
CARtoons Magazine came out in the late 50's and was published/distributed by-monthly up until the early 90's. The magazine was based on comic strip stories and illustrations from various top name artists reflecting humour within the automotive industry. Basically your comic book for automotive enthusiasts worldwide.
Why Bring CARtoons Magazine back to print?
When the magazine stopped printing in the early 90's, many subscribers were confused and upset because there was nothing else like it on the magazine stands. Many had full subscriptions patiently waiting to get there hands on the next issue. No answers were ever giving as to why the magazine stopped printing. Over 24 years later, a large number of fans of the magazine today, still talk about the magazine and the stories that were told within. All over social media you will read how CARtoons magazine helped inspired many to get into illustration and comic strips which resulted in careers. They talk about all the stories they enjoyed reading and about the artists that brought these stories and illustrations to life. Also that every fan of the magazine would love to see CARtoons come back to print so they can enjoy what they once loved to read and share with the younger generation. Today there is still nothing like this magazine available.

Who Owns and Wants to Bring CARtoons Magazine Back to Print?
My name is Marc Methot, a 38 year old male living in Canada who also was inspired by the magazine as an artist and was also a subscriber. I remember as a child, I would patiently wait by-monthly for that new issue to hit the magazine stand. I am your typical blue collar worker who was successful on filing for the CARtoons Magazine trademark and because the funds are not easily available, I seek your help. Be apart of bringing this classic magazine back to print for everyone of all ages to enjoy once again.

What is the Funding For?
Because I am an indivdual blue collar citizen that is starting this Magazine from scratch, Funding is needed as follows:
-High End Computer and Adobe Programs needed to edit and publish the magazine layout.
-100,000 copies bagged of the first issue that will be printed by Ovid Bell Press.
-100,000 custom Iron-ons that will be inserted into each issue.
-Costs to create the issue in digital format.
-Payments to all artists including 5 original artists from CARtoons for there artwork per page.
-Distribution costs so CARtoons will be available to purchase at most major retail stores such as Walmart, Chapters etc across the USA and Canada and eventually worldwide.
-Website designed for the readers to easily subscribe and check out updates along with sneek peeks.
After crunching all numbers with all costs shown above, finances work out to $150,000 USD for start up costs all the way to the Newstands, ready to be purchased.
My goal is to bring CARtoons Magazine back to magazine stands across the USA & Canada, along with creating Digital Issue downloads every second month. I need help with funding for publishers that will print a good quality Magazine Comic and to print a higher quantity so everyone across the world can enjoy this magazine once again. I need help with funding for a distributor that has the right distribution so readers can easily pick up an issue monthly anywhere. Expensive Adobe software programs are needed to create the magazine professionally so all subscribers will get a top quality magazine. To have a great product, I need to fund for top artists and cartoonists from the original CARtoons magazine and new highly talented artists of today, so my readers will enjoy and look forward to each issue. Last is the advertising to let all the Magazine fans know that their favourite Mag is coming back.
The support has already shown extremely positive responses on the return of CARtoons. 90% are ready to subscribe and are excited to enjoy the magazine as they once did in the past, but the financing isn't there.
