On Saturday night (6/29/13) I was doing my business on the front lawn and a mean nasty rattlesnake scared me, so I barked at him & he bit me in the mouth. I was taken to the Animal Emergency Hospital, where I was given two doses of antivenom and a lot of bloodwork. My family now has a large vet bill that they are struggling to pay. Just a $10 donation, or whatever you want to do, and sharing this link with all your friends would be wonderful.

Update: I am home and doing better. I am still having trouble eating, my throat is still swollen, and I am itching from where the doctor put the IV needle. The doctors told my grandpa "Chad is a great patient". Grandpa found the snake in the front lawn and killed it -- thank you grandpa. There is a picture of the dead snake under "Gallery" -- don't look at it if you are scared.

Any amounts donated beyond $2,600 for snakebite vet bill will be used for rattlesnake bite vaccine for all four dogs (Chad needs his second dose -- he had his first dose & was due his second when he was bit -- this did slow down the venom effects).
