Print Arsenal's Chocolate 3D Printer is fitted with a twin-screw extruder, so that you would print out a chocolate pattern within a few minutes. Moreover, the printing size is relatively large, the maximum printing size is 100mm * 150mm * 100mm.

The chocolate 3D printer allows you to design custom chocolates and
offer them fresh. You can model chocolate into aesthetically pleasing and delectable
textures and shapes.
Traditional chocolate manufacturing machines have their limitations
when it comes to forming precise and complicated shapes and patterns. In
contrast, digital gastronomy, is allowing for the creation of flavors and
textures that is completely unimaginable through other cooking techniques.
Big food manufacturers and companies that sell households appliances
haven’t yet launched commercial-grade chocolate printers. We would like to be the first.
The 3D printer is equipped with a heated chocolate extruder and has a
syringe to create the final product. Printed chocolate must be made with just the right application of
mechanical force, plus a well-designed digital “recipe” using raw ingredients
of the correct consistency. Raw ingredients must be soft enough to push through
a syringe tip, yet stiff enough to hold shape after being printed. To print
food, the printer must first be specially outfitted so it can work with edible
raw material.
Like any other 3D printed goodie, chocolate printing starts as a design
file. Food printing fans download their chocolate design file from a website or
create their own design files from scratch using engineering design software.
The machine is mainly controlled by the computer, consisting of automation material and ingredients storage, extrusion structure, delivery devices. It enables the user to pick up their favorite shapes from three-dimensional models stored in advance, as well as to design their own unique styles according to their preferences by using the software. After all these preparations, once they click on the “Print” button, the nozzles will evenly extrude chocolate “ink”, so as to form the nutritious, healthy and interesting chocolate shape layer by layer.

To start, you have to put the chocolate chips into the hopper, the piston driven by double screw motor will squeeze the chocolate chips downward. When chocolate chips are pushed to the heating devices, the temperature will rise as high as 40 degrees Celsius. At this time, the solid chocolate will transform into liquid. Then the nozzle, with a diameter of 4 mm, will extrude liquid chocolate to form a real chocolate structure. When it’s done, you can take the printed chocolate away carefully and refill the syringe with
chocolate for the next build, or could simply discharge the remaining
chocolate out form the syringe to keep as back up.
The printed chocolate dries naturally. When the chocolate cools back to
room temperature, it will harden again. As for the screen, you can use it to adjust the temperature &
select the design from the SD card; it reads SD cards.

2. If I purchase the printer outside of Indiegogo, what will come with it?
You will receive a 1kg pack of cocoa powder that you will have to turn into liquid chocolate with your favorite flavor, to then feed the printer.
3. Does the printer come with warranty?
Yes. When you purchase the printer you get a free 5 year warranty. The warranty will also come with the printer when you contribute to our campaign.
4. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship all around the world. We do not cover the cost of shipping.
