Two purveyors of devine inspiration meet after centuries apart. Demigods; centuries-old; their reunion has been a long time coming.
Their methods, like them, contrast and conflict, as they dispense meanings and messages into the fabric of the mortal world. But now a game of cat and mouse is about to ensue which will subsequently impact upon the life of a disillusioned young woman....
After the success of When The Tide Comes In , nominated for Best Composer @ BAFTA New Talent Awards, and later Winner of Best Drama Short Award at the Festigous Film Festival 2015, CUSTODIAN is the next short film by Writer-Director Craig T B McKenna.

We are pushing the boat out for Custodian , with strong costume design, period wardrobe, specialist lenses, and an exciting practical special effect planned!
But firstly, we are already paying our Cast & Crew from our own pocket. That is set. It is our personal belief to meet and exceed the National Living Wage wherever possible, to support fairly those for whom their creative craft may be their sole source of income. In addition, we are already paying the logistics, accommodation and transport. We are covering the necessities ourselves. We stand by this firmly.
But what of the fun stuff? This is where you come in!
We need your money. Your financial contribution goes straight into the look of the film, helping pay for:
- Quality Costume and Wardrobe options fit for our immortal characters;
- Strong production design; hire/ buying props; set dressing; make-up; and textiles;
- a wider array of specialist lenses for our sponsored RED Dragon;
- Finding locations (and downpayment for those which require a booking fee)

- Realising the building of this ambitious set piece....

Ambitious ? Oh Yes :-D We love a challenge!! One of several concepts. Rather than rely solely on CGI, we have commissioned a team of specialist carpenters to realise this onto a physical, practical effect. Only with your donation can we realise the scale of this effect and see this commission become a reality, and create a quality piece of craftsmanship fit for the big screen.
Your donation will also aid post-production, seeing Custodian successfully completed; professional colour-graded ; and entered into film festivals worldwide.

We could not do this without You. We have chosen to crowdfund because we feel it gives us the most creative freedom over the idea we are passionate about, without studio intervention at this stage. It opens up huge possibilities and minimises any risk to our investors - getting involved is easy, safe and massively effective.
