New Album, Eh?
Yes! I've been
working on new material since releasing my last album, 'East Tennessee', more than a year ago. I've got a collection of
songs that I believe need to be heard. It's my goal to share a few of
them with those who contribute along the way, well before they're released to
the general public.
I've got some great
musicians lined up from New England, Knoxville, and Nashville to help
make these songs sound the best they can. I'm lucky enough to be working
with members of my own band as well as some very special guests (some of whom played on my last album) over the next two months.
In addition, I'm using
photographs taken by Mr. Bill Foster to tell my story. This
is going to be my most important album.
Why a Fundraiser?
Recording an album
costs a lot of money. While I've been fortunate in the past to fund the whole
process on my own, I found that a fundraising campaign was an extremely important resource for the last album I released. Although I was blessed with some generous contributions, I still spent nearly $10,000 on my own in order to bring the album to life. With a family to support, it's no longer possible for me
to do that. I've begun the recording process with money I've saved, but I
need your help to finish the project. Your donations go directly to pay
for: studio time, for the musicians, for the artists putting the actual album
design together, for the mastering of the album, and finally for the production
of the finished product.
What Do I Get?
There are a variety of
premiums that I'm offering as a thank you for your donation. From a copy
of the new album to the Executive Producer credit, there's something for
everyone.
Other Ways To Help
I recognize that it's
not possible for everyone to financially contribute to this campaign.
That said, you can still help make this dream of mine a reality!
Please feel free to share this campaign or links to my music through
social media and/or by word of mouth. Indiegogo has share tools available
to help with that process.
I'm grateful for
the support that I have received from you throughout the years. I
appreciate your time and your investment in my music, and I look forward to
sharing it with you soon.
