Who are we?
We're a group of Film School students that got together to make this short film. The story is about bringing dreams to life and to never let anyone or anything stop you.
Our crew consists of people from all over the world - Brazil, Canada, Syria, Sweden & Taiwan - everyone with different backgrounds but with the same goal: to make films!
What We Need & What You Get
Your money will go to Festival submission fees.

The Impact
This story is important because it shows how it is to grow up under a lot of expectations from school and parents, not every child is able to or wants to comply to the standards our society has set for us. The Director for this film, Sara Joni, wanted to bring in her cultural background. Sara was brought up in a Syrian household and she wants to incorporate that into Devia to add a distinctive touch to the story and that's what makes Devia so unique.
