Logline:

The demanding, insensitive actions of a mid-level manager toward his former employee, cause a catastrophic chain of events to occur.

Summary:

A call center employee seeks deadly revenge after being fired. A co-worker steps up to save her colleagues from imminent danger. However, we come to find out, that she is fighting her own internal demons.

A Message from the Writer, Joseph Leone:

Dire Consequences is essentially a script about workplace violence. However, I believe that this story is much deeper than simply a tragic set of circumstances that lead to horrific ending. The attempt of the project is to understand the psychology or the events that lead up to such horrific tragedies. Not to take any responsibility away from the Assailant/Gunman, the story also depicts how our actions can contribute to such events.

"I originally conceived the idea for Dire Consequences, because, as a Corporate  Recruiter for many years, I always wondered how an incident, such as a mass shooting would affect me personally; especially, if I played a part in hiring the assailant." - Joseph Leone
