Have you ever loved something so much that you can't imagine your life without it? This is how Sam Harper feels about music. She plays in a rock band. She loves vinyl. And she plays her keyboard every waking moment to the detriment of her social life. You might say it is an obsession.

But then...She wakes up in the hospital to discover she has lost her hearing. Her greatest passion is now gone. Until one night, when a strange voice calls out to her. It wants something from her, and Sam has three days to figure out what it is, or she just might have to forfeit her soul.

With this much experience and talent, you can see that any contribution would be going to a project that will be guided with expertise and focus, but what exactly is the money going to?

We are seeking at least $2,500 for the production phase of our feature film (with a plan to launch campaigns for the post and distribution phase). How can we make a feature film for such a small amount of money? The simple answer is that we will be calling in a lot of favors, using some amazing volunteers, and finding shortcuts wherever we can.

We plan to start shooting at the end of October, while the campaign is still running, but the biggest, most expensive pieces of the film will not be shot until the end of November. This isn't a question of if the film will be made; it's a question of if you will be a part of it!

If we meet our current goal, Indiegogo will allow us to fundraise past our current 40 day limit and we can even possibly raise more money to pay for even more stuff we might need (and add more production value to the film). 

What Does This Pay For?

Locations (30%)

Many of our locations, we will be able to beg and borrow for, but there are a few key sets that we will need to rent. Namely, a hospital room, a record shop, a multipurpose room, and a few apartment spaces. 

Food For Crew (15%)

Everyone on this film will be volunteering their time, so we want to be able to provide them with good food during really long days on set. 

Equipment (15%)

Some of our crew will be donating gear, but we still have to rent some lighting and camera gear to help us get the right cinematic look. 

Props/Set Design (10%)

We have many props that we need to purchase as well as posters and other items to decorate the spaces we will be shooting in. We want this world to feel real and we want the sets to feel inhabited, so we want to get the right pieces to make this happen.

Special Effects (5%)

We have several horror sequences in the film that involve one or two very specific special effects and we need to be able to purchase the supplies to make these sequences feel as scary as possible.  

Campaign Fees (10%)

Depending on how much we raise, we may have to pay up to 10% of what we raise to Indiegogo for fundraising and processing fees.

Perks Fulfillment (15%)

In order to send you all these amazing perks, we will be spending roughly 15% of what we raise to cover these costs.
