domomob transmits the information via PLC. This system uses the preexisting electrical cables of the house, so it doesn’t emit any radiation into the home's atmosphere.

Our cameras have protection to avoid prying eyes. It can only be operated remotely using a special code administrator.

We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to create a home automation system that is easy to install (Plug&Play).
We are very interested in providing users with a simple, secure, usable, and comfortable system.
We are very concerned about the amount of electromagnetic waves to which we are exposed. For that reason, we operate on our own communication system, PLC (Power Line Communications). The communication travels through the electrical wires of the house and do not emit electromagnetic waves.

1. General questions

Is it very difficult to install domomob home automation system?
No. domomob is very easy and doesn’t require any technical knowledge.

What accessories do I need?
The only indispensable product is the miniserver, the brain of the entire system.

How many accessories do I need?
As many as your desired system requires.

Can I add accessories later?
Yes. To add new devices to your system, you only have to copy the security code in your online profile of domomob.

How can I buy additional accessories?
You can buy accessories during the indiegogo campaign, or later in the online shop www.domomob.com. Our sponsors will have the same price as the indiegogo campaign.

Can I buy two miniservers, one for the house and one for the office?
Yes. You can buy one miniserver for each location, house, second residence, office, etc. and control everything from the same user.

I want to be up to date of your innovations. How can I participate?
Being sponsor with a 5€ contribution, we will inform you by email of all the news and innovations about domomob.

2. Questions concerning the purchase

Will I receive an order confirmation?
Once the indiegogo campaign is finished, you will receive a confirmation email with the requested order.

I have not received my confirmation email, should I worry?
If you don’t receive the email within 96 hours since the campaign finished (be sure the email has not been considered as spam), you should send us an email to db@domomob.com, so that we can review the incidence.

How can I enlarge devices to my indiegogo kit?
After the campaign you will receive an email with the description of your indiegogo kit and a link if you want to expand the devices.

When will I receive my reward?
Our sponsors’ rewards will be sent from December 2015 onwards.

Do the products have warranty?
Yes, they have. The warranty covers any production defect during 1 year. Any problem that might ocurr will be solved as soon as possible, just contact us at db@domomob.com.

3. Privacy and security

Can I switch the camera off?
The indoor camera has a button which, when pressed, sends a message to the mobile which domomob is connected to, alerting that the indoor camera has been disconnected.
The camera has also a remote device which allows to disconnect the camera through a special user code.

4. Technical issues

Does domomob use other producer devices?
No, it does not. domomob only usesour own products which have been previously tested and proved by our experts to avoid having any security and reliability problems.

Do the apps have any cost?
All apps are entirely free.

What happens if internet goes off?
If the internet or the mini server stopped working, domomob devices would still work.

What happens if electricity goes off?
If the electricity goes off all the systems stops working, and as soon as it returns, the system resets itself and starts working again normally.

Is there any device that work with a battery?
All our accessories work connected directly to the net, except a small range of items, such as the assistance bracelet, which for obvious reasons need to use small batteries.
