WHAT IS THIS?

DRAGOON KNIGHT ALDRAKE is an on going comic series in the style of an adult cartoon (South Park, Family Guy) with super hero action sequences. DRAGOON KNIGHT ALDRAKE: The Legendary Hero is the newest volume, a 140 page manga sized graphic novel by Matt Wenger.

STORY

It's been 75 years since Thomas Slugo sacrificed himself to stop an alien invasion that nearly destroyed his world. All over the planet Caliginus, Slugo is heralded as the greatest hero the world has ever known. As a selfish drunk redneck who grew up in a cave, Aldrake Razvalon isn't that guy. In a shocking revelation, Aldrake and sidekick Yoshi find Slugo has apparently returned to the side of the living. How and why? Worse they are in opposition to the great hero. Yoshi is an immortal sphinx who once fought alongside Slugo and knows first hand what Aldrake would be up against. Needless to say, it's a bad situation.

DRAGOON KNIGHT ALDRAKE: Aldrake VS Chronah's Knights is a 200 page black and white graphic novel that tells Aldrake's origin story. It is an older book that doesn't have the higher production values of The Legendary Hero but is an important volume in the story of our hero. As self contained story it isn't necessary to read Aldrake VS Chronah's Knights to enjoy The Legendary Hero.
