Kassius King portrays the character SAGE, who finds himself deeply enamored with Mercedes. However, his attempts at proposing marriage are met with annoyance and disdain, leaving him heartbroken. Sage reflects on his romantic life and bemoans societal relationship norms that have left him feeling isolated. Seeking guidance, he turns to his companions, the DudeZ, in search of advice on how to navigate his next steps.

Josh Schaffrin embodies the character GINO, a supremely confident and almost arrogantly self-assured playboy within the DudeZ group. He advises Sage to embrace his sexual desires without inhibition, much like he does himself. Gino fondly recalls a night at a house party with Albe and Julz but regrets not being able to connect with a specific woman, all the while overlooking his encounters with the bartender and two other women who are currently asleep in his room. Strangely fixated on champagne bottles, Gino remains blissfully unaware of his own contradictions.

Robert J. Preston portrays ALBE, a timid and self-doubting member of the DudeZ. Albe, a theater performer, is passionate about a romance novel series called "Sudden Impact." Despite his love for romance, he is accused by his fellow DudeZ of sabotaging his own chances in love, a claim he vehemently denies. Albe recalls a day spent outdoors with Sage when a girl shows interest in him. Unfortunately, he fumbles the encounter, leading the rest of the crew to perceive him as a hopeless case in the romance department.

Karisha Toney embodies the character TAMMY, the sole woman and rational voice within the DudeZ circle. Always vigilant, perpetually weary from work, and perpetuating her calm demeanor with a drink in hand, Tammy, the seasoned bartender, consistently points out the absurdities in her fellow DudeZ's relationship choices. While Tammy's sharp insights keep the group grounded, it might be at the expense of her own well-being.

AJ Dwayne brings to life the character JULZ, a chill member of the DudeZ crew who is deeply passionate about marijuana, video games, and music production. His excessive smoking often leaves him incoherent, prompting his friends to encourage him to cut back, especially given its impact on his romantic relationships. Nonetheless, Julz excels at offering a broader perspective, guiding the DudeZ back on track whenever they lose their way, even when they focus on his own shortcomings!

Rekha Letsinger portrays MERCEDES, who is unknowingly the object of Sage's affection. Mercedes rejects Sage in a devastating manner, setting off a chain of events that shape the unfolding narrative.

Urecay Bradley portrays SLIM, the imposing but remarkably patient boyfriend of Mercedes. Despite Sage's persistent advances on his girlfriend, Slim shows compassion, attempting to defuse the situation when Sage finds himself on the edge, showcasing Slim's empathetic nature even in challenging circumstances.

Ines Starry portrays BELLE, the bartender who is captivated by Gino at a house party. She is willing to go to great lengths to capture Gino's attention but is heartbroken when she can't maintain it for long.

Kyle Arend embodies TAVEN, an arts major and a notorious party animal. Taven's place is the perpetual party hub, serving as the backdrop for crucial moments in the series, even though he's often too intoxicated to fully comprehend what's happening around him.

Anthony Gibson embodies the character BACKPACK, a versatile hustler known for his resourcefulness. Carrying an array of essentials, Backpack is the go-to person for anything you might require. Always ready to help, he provides precisely what others need, precisely when they need it. If there's a demand, Backpack has the supply.

Watch the 2019 Short Film Now!
Back in 2019, I filmed a short film called "DudeZ: The Jawn Where Sage Proposes" in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The pilot episode of my TV series is very similar to the plot of this short film. If you'd like a better idea of what I'm trying to create, please take the time to watch this production made at an early stage in my filmmaking career.
This production starred George Graves as Gino, Ron "Quave" Evans as Sage, Julian Giovanni Class as Albe, MK Wilson as Tammy and AJ Dwayne as Julz. Cinematography by CJ tha Riot.

Fundraising Goal: $17,000.00

- We have a goal of $17,000 to fundraise in order to achieve creating this show with amazing quality. $15,000 will be dispersed through cast, crew, production costs, housing, filming locations and catering. The extra $2,000 will be held as emergency funds for any last minute issues that may arise during filming
- The Cinematographer/Director of Photography we are looking to hire for this production is the incredibly talented Jason R. Johnston. I met him as an actor for the short film "Pure Evil" recorded in Tennessee back in June of 2023. Working with him and seeing the dedication to detail he had as a cinematographer made him a prime choice to work with on this project. - We have located various options for commercial filming and AirBnB housing. We're hopeful to house our cast and crew for a five day shoot in March 2024.
- Our philosophy is to work as a small crew, between 6-8 people. Including Costumes, Grip, Lighting, Sound and assistants to the filming.
- We want our filming to be as professionally sound as possible, providing catering to our cast and crew at reasonable times. We, also, want to have the appropriate permits for our outdoor scenes, in accordance with the city and state laws.
- We are a small independent production company using non union actors due to the nature of our budget. Our actors deserve to get paid for their work, even if it's a small amount compared to industry standards. We won't be able to pay everyone for this pilot, but we will pay our principles, featured, day player and cameo performers. We just won't be paying background for this filming, unless we are fortunate enough to pursue stretch goals.
- Every drop of money garnered in this campaign will go toward the making of this film. None of these funds will be used for any other purpose than to bring this vision to reality.
- Assisting us in our goals will garner great perks, like T-Shirts and Memorabilia. Every single person that contributes will have their name in the credits of this episode as a producer.
