About Us
"Echoes of the Heart" is a biomorphic anatomical human heart containing a “neural network” of acoustic LED fibers. It collects and plays back thousands of sentimental audio recordings from participants, representing the memories of pain, grief, trauma, and love carried by our hearts. The project is constructed largely from sustainable materials, such as geopolymer cement. A network of small speakers connected to acoustic tubes carry light and sound throughout the structure, representing neural pathways in the heart.
Phase One
To reach our total goal of $15,000, we are fundraising in three phases. In the 2nd phase, we are aiming for $6,000. We raised $4,000 in our first phase!
