The Old Man Once a Boy - The American soldier, plucked up and shipped out at just 15. Thrown into the trenches where he is wildly out of his depth in the madness of the fight. He's the protagonist of EUDAIMONIA #1, so his story has already been told, his tale of anguish and personal redemption laid to rest, or has it? There is more to what you saw than you think.
The Woman Who Plays the Cello - We have seen her play and the effect her song has on the hearts of men fresh from battle, but who is she? Where did her song come from? From what life could something so hauntingly sublime emerge?

The Son Not So Prodigal - A fresh-faced German soldier who, like his American counterpart, was simply not ready for the chattering guns and the falling of brothers. We have already seen his end in EUDAIMONIA #1, but his beginning will change everything.

Mary & the Priest - The eccentric librarian and the wise old priest who once walked hand in hand towards bliss until fate drove them from each other's arms. The years have made them diametrically opposed forces, just blocks apart, until the song of war song brings them back together.

EUDAIMONIA is not politicial, nor is it about the lenses of identity which divide us. It is about people struggling to find purpose and meaning in the face of unimaginable horrors. The quest which rests inside all like an ember nestled in the belly of man where it slowly braises us from the inside out.

EUDAIMONIA is a story told using breathtaking art and composed entirely in metered verse. This is a deliberate homage to writing styles popular among the soldiers of WW1 who struggled to understand themselves amidst the unfathomable misery that surrounded them. It is also done as a nod to classical stories of Western tradition, which often grappled with the grand philosophical questions of mankind.
