The Impact

This project has been in my head since at least 2013 I began making it a reality in January of 2015 after meeting Jeff Hick at the 2014 Cincinnati Comic Expo. Many twist and turns came over time Jeff went on to do his own thing and I thought this may never get finished. That changed when I met Nick Crook. Nick brought the project to completion ( of ACT 1).

As a contributor you will be changing my whole world. By bringing the world I've envisioned for so long into being and this first 68 page story is only the beginning.

Short Summary

Fear is what keeps good men from being great men. We’ve all faced a situation where we saw someone who needed our help, and yet we did nothing because of our biological imperative for self-preservation. Our heart knows what’s right - our brain knows what’s smart, and ultimately the brain wins out every time death is a possibility. But what if death was no longer a factor? Would we then always do what was right, now that we’re free from mortal consequence?

Everlasting Survivors explores these questions, among other topics not yet fully examined by the comic book medium. The book follows three heroes, all of whom possess an eclectic assortment of powers, with one unifying characteristic; if they die, they will resurrect with even more abilities than before. Death, then, has become something not to fear, but rather something to look forward to.

When we’re first introduced to the characters, they have yet to understand how they got their powers and what these new powers mean for mankind’s future. As the story unfolds, our heroes search for these answers while coming face-to-face with even bigger questions, like: What does sacrifice mean when you have nothing to lose?

Overview

Our heroes are Dominic Kanuho, Reece Shaw and Faviana “Ana” Maldonado. Dominic and Reece both fully embrace the limelight that their newfound powers have provided them, and with the help of an image consulting firm (ran by Reece and Ana’s sister Marie), use their powers for both the good of the people and for the adoration of their fans. Ana is different. She wears a mask and uses a code name - Sublime Eye - so that she can still be a nurse in her everyday life without being inundated by the fame that comes with her alter ego.

Their world is much like ours; pessimistic, cynical, seemingly hopeless, cruel and confusing and filled with lies, deceit, malice and greed. The inhabitants of this world need a savior, whether they realize it or not. Are these heroes ready to answer that unspoken call?

Risks & Challenges

I got the largest obstacles out of the way all art has been COMPLETED.

The biggest risk we face is NOT getting the printing cost covered.

The team is working hard to face the challenge of getting the word out about this.

Addition risk comes from shipping anything can happen especially in a COVID world.

Other Ways You Can Help

If you're here and unable to contribute you can still help!

Maybe someone you know would like to contribute and they haven't heard about us yet.

        Use the Indiegogo share tools!

Get the word out and make some noise about this campaign.

And that's all there is to it.
