INTRO
Farragut Films is launching "Farragut 2024” (A Star Trek Fan Production), the sequel to #FarragutForward and the next chapter of the Starship Farragut in the "movie era" of Star Trek. Our sequel film means all-new sets, costumes, props, and challenges! As the only Star Trek Fan Production working in the 1980's genre of movies with the original series cast --- we truly are going “where no fan film has gone before” and we need your help!

“For our Farragut Forward movie project, we're working on a serialized 3-part trilogy. The first installment is our revenge Moby Dick story featuring the evil antagonist Prescott. The 2nd part entails a light-hearted, time travel adventure, essentially our ‘fish out of water’ story. The 3rd and concluding film will feature an epic space battle with all of the characters and starships from the Farragut universe united against a common enemy.”

HISTORY
Farragut Films is celebrating its 20th anniversary next year. We have done 1960’s TV TREK, 1970’s animation in the same FILMMATION style that they did with CLASSIC TREK, and now, 1980’s movie-era TREK.
And although we are tied with only one other fan film group as the longest-running STAR TREK amateur series, we are the only group to showcase our Farragut characters in all three genres --- just like the original cast of STAR TREK. Farragut is in a class by itself.

BUDGET
Our total budget for FARRAGUT 2024 is $50,000. Our initial fundraising goal is $30,000. Assuming we hit this goal, we can enter IndieGoGo’s “On Demand” which will allow us to continue to work towards the additional $20K funds to make this film but not be on any specific timetable.
RISKS & CHALLENGES
As with any volunteer film project, delays can happen; however, we have a proven track record of accomplishments and have always delivered crowdfunded films. All of our released films can be watched for free on our YouTube channel here:
