I have spent the last four years following and filming the life of Zoo Cain. This roller-coaster of inspiration and heartbreak has been an amazing journey for me and It truly comes across in this documentary. Zoo has helped hundreds if not thousands of people with their addictions while battling his own demons. His zest for life is abundantly demonstrated in his art, his dancing, his spirituality and his love.
My hope is get this film into as many festivals as possible to bring notoriety to Zoo as a great American artist. His devotion to expression and color is felt in every frame of this film. Although I had raised some money to make the film, most of this has been a passion project for me. If we can garner a number of awards, it will open doors to have showings in museums, art houses and rehab facilities across the country. We may also find a TV distribution opportunity if it gets into enough festivals and succeeds.
We are looking for a two thousand dollars to get int the festivals now. If we get more than $2,000, we will simply go into more festivals, both large and small.
Thank you for considering this project. It has been one of my favorite projects after 35 years of producing TV and video productions.
Thank you, Reg Groff
