FOUR CHAMBERS OF FRIGHT is an “Elvira” inspired horror anthology with a sinister twist!
From the writer/creator of "Witch Creek Road" and the artist/creator of "Monsterella", "Four Chambers Of Fright" features four heart-stopping tales of terror delivered by the sensationally sadistic, "Dizzy".
Nevin Arnold ("Monsterella", "Calavera The Undead") and Garth Matthams ("Witch Creek Road", "The Living Finger"), both monstrously huge fans of the classic horror comics and magazines of the 60s and 70s, have joined forces to create a sinister spin on the classic "horror host" narrated creepy comics of yesteryear.
In the tradition of the horror host, Dizzy spins multiple tales of terror, but unlike the many masters of the macabre that came before her, Dizzy tends to be a little more...involved in her work!
This all-killer-no-filler 24-page first issue features stunning cover art by Sun Khamunaki ("Lady Death", "Monsterella"), pin-up art by Pablo Verdugo ("Mr. Beaver"), and four shocking tales written by Garth Matthams and illustrated by Nevin Arnold and Rodrigo Trindade!

ORIGIN STORIES
Though this comic was heavily inspired by horror publications like Eerie, Tales from the Crypt, and Elvira, it has a much more obscure origin: Winnie the Witch - the blue-skinned, mini-skirt-wearing, bespectacled host of Charlton Comics' "Ghost Manor".
Winnie the Witch, like other horror hosts, used humour and bad puns to introduce her stories. But she also spoke using every "hip" term that I imagine was available at the time. It was reminiscent of an older person doing his or her best to connect with their much younger audience, and it was AWESOME. It was like watching your grandmother trying to breakdance.
And one day I joked with Nevin that, "If I had my way, I'd make a 70s-inspired horror host named Dizzy the Disco Draculette, and she'd wear roller skates and make bad puns and speak like she was stuck in the 1970s." And, lucky for me, Nevin liked the idea - and Dizzy was born.
Thanks for checking out this project, and if you decide to back it, we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it!
-Garth Matthams, Writer
RISKS & CHALLENGES
As with anything, there's always risk, and always outside forces that are out of our control. A blizzard. A postal strike. Murder hornets. But "Four Chambers Of Fright" has already been successfully funded on Kickstarter and although this is our first venture on IndieGoGo, between us, we've successfully delivered on 6 Kickstarters so rest assured that we not only know what we're doing, we're also going to pull out all the stops to get these books into your hands.
