WHO WE ARE
Started by four University of Oregon students, Rosie strives to relieve the financial burden of monthly essentials. Our company will use a drop-in center and deliveries to reach our clients.
For the first few months, due to financial restrictions, we will only offer deliveries. Our services will be available to any person for any hygienic purpose, including, but not limited to, menstruation, urinary incontinence, and hysterectomies. Clients will be able to go on to our website, rosiecenter.org, and register with us. Once they've created their profile, they can choose what package type they want and when they want it by.
Leave the rest to us.
THE TEAM
Executive Director: Manju Bangalore
Manju started creating when she was four and hasn't stopped since. In her free time, she likes to discuss intersectional feminism and burn her dinner. Even though she loves herself quite a bit, she is still a Physics and Mathematics double major at the University of Oregon.
External Affairs Officer: Maria Pervova
Maria works on marketing, fundraising, and external communications. She is majoring in International Studies and Economics at the University of Oregon. Maria is especially passionate about cross cultural communications and diplomacy. She loves to dance in the rain, diet like a football player, and make frequent visits to the emergency room.
Internal Affairs Officer: Lucas Pyper
Luke is in charge of finance, human resources, and facilities. People say his face was chiseled by the Gods themselves. Luke likes Piña Coladas and getting caught in the rain, but he's not really into yoga. He is currently attending the University of Oregon.
Governance Officer: Austin Ferrie
Austin was born in Parker, Colorado where he lived for eight years before moving to Lake Oswego. He loves hockey and soccer, hates Mondays, and thinks scarves are an underrated fashion accessory.
WHAT WE NEED
To keep ourselves supported, we need funding. If we reach our goal of $5,000, we will have the first two months of operations funded. We will be able to cater to hundreds of individuals every month with your help. The funding would go towards the cost of insurance, delivery costs, but most importantly, the feminine hygiene supplies themselves.
Here's a breakdown of what the $5,000 will be spent on exactly:
The money goes directly to sustaining our non-profit. All of our staff works on a volunteer basis because we believe in what we're doing.
We hope you do, too.
WHY YOU SHOULD DONATE
Why aren't pads and tampons free? We believe they should be.
Basic sanitation should be afforded to everyone, regardless of income level or socioeconomic status. No one should have to worry about the cost of feminine hygiene supplies.
Pads and tampons are expensive and can help to drain a person's monthly check.
As a community member, you have the power to profoundly impact your environment. You can help us establish our company's base. You can help promote what we're doing. You can share our excitement with your friends and family.

Let's work together.
