The Project:

Shot in both New York City and Tennessee, this music video will demonstrate what happens when a group of emerging artists strive to meld the rural southern styles of a Tennessee Bluegrass band with the urban sounds of Gangster Rap. Further, it will explore the cultures that accompany both styles of music, celebrating their differences and highlighting their complimentary traits.

For our first project as a crew, we have been fortunate enough to establish contact with the band 'Gangstagrass', whose music is featured as the title track for the hit television show 'Justified' on the FX network. They have graciously agreed to allow us to use their music, and to volunteer their talents as the subject of our video.

It is our hope that this film will provide us with a suitable showpiece as we work towards establishing our place in the world's creative community.

Your Contribution:

While our crew has agreed to volunteer their time and what little equipment they have free of charge, there is still much to be paid for.

With your contribution, we hope to be able to:

- Rent Grip and Lighting Equipment which will help to provide more dynamic, professional shots.

- Rent Lenses and Camera Equipment which will help to provide a more visually interesting product.

- Secure any expendables necessary for the production.

- Provide transportation for both our crew and our equipment from one location to the next.

- Purchase the coffee necessary to keep our crew running into the wee hours of the morning.

Ultimately, as this is our first project as a crew, most of the help we need is financial. However, we would be more than happy to accept any assistance that will ultimately help us to make this the absolute best showpiece for our collective talents.

About Us:

We are a small crew of filmmakers who have been working in the New York film industry assisting on a variety of projects for the past several years. Along the way we have had the opportunity to help out in the making of a number of shorts, commercials, television shows and films ranging from micro budget Indies to major blockbuster hits.

Amongst our credits are:

- 'White Collar', on the USA Network

- 'Person of Interest', on CBS

- 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close' (2011 Oscar nominee for Best Picture)

- 'The Amazing Spider-Man'

- 'Men in Black 3'

- 'Dark Knight Rises'

...as well as countless others.

After years of assisting and observing others make their own projects, the time has come for us to make our own.

We greatly appreciate your taking the time to look into our project. We hope that you will consider lending any financial support you can, and thank you in advance for helping us to share our project with the world.
