Hello to everybody. We would like to offer you the opportunity to join us and to be a part of our team in order to create this Museum & Experience together. Jump with us in the past, to the fantastic world of Giacomo Casanova - and create the future.
“Giacomo Casanova Museum & Experience” will be the first Museum dedicated to the poet, musician, adventurer, lover, Giacomo Casanova and will be located in Venice - the place where Casanova left his spirit. We’ve decided to call it “Museum & Experience” because it won't be just a dusty museum, where you will be able to discover paintings, memorabilia and more, but it will be a unique experience with high technologies, multimedia, which will let you revive the romantic adventures of Giacomo Casanova, feeling the sensation of the life of this eclectic man.
Giacomo Casanova has loved and has been loved like no other man in history. That's why we have created a special experience to deliver the "loved letters" and make you feel interactive while visiting the museum.

- DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:
Carlo Parodi, the founder of Giacomo Casanova Limited and Giacomo Casanova Foundation, had the vision to create something never built before - an entire Museum with a real multimedia experience dedicated to one of the most important characters of our history - Giacomo Casanova. “I’ve decided to offer a tribute to Casanova, a man of love, poetry, music, and adventure”.
Furthermore, this concept will help the local businesses to develop tourism and increase work opportunities in Venice. The Mayor of Venice was incredibly excited about this project and he is currently working towards its complete realization with us.
However, this project needs to be supported in order to come into effect, hence, we have already made some prior calculations based on the statistical data with regards to the tourism in Venice:
- *AFFLUENCE - our prevision :
First year: 80,000 / 130,000 visitors
Second year: 130,000 / 220,000
Third year: up to 300,000
TOTAL VISITORS IN VENICE EVERY YEAR: 15,000,000 / 20,000,000
*Details discussed with the Venice Cultural Committee in cooperation with an important transport company of the Lagoon.
- CASANOVA MUSEUM & EXPERIENCE AROUND THE WORLD:
We would like to take this experience all around the world and not only restrict it to Venice. Our aim is to reach the numerous masses across the globe, to create a new museum, both permanent and temporary.

The amount the project will reach will be invested in the permanent Museum in Venice. We do expect extra funding in order to plan the next permanent Museum that will be in Prague.
We will discover with the Museum & Experience not only the life of Giacomo Casanova but also the customs and traditions of the magic period of the18th century. Once Venice was a leading European economic and trading power.
