We created GOLD ARROW COMICS because we believe in Comic Books.

We believe comics offer unrivaled dramatic possibilities. We believe they represent the most versatile, the most accessible, and still the most underrated artistic form of communication.

We love comics.

We are not daunted by the economics of the industry. We believe that when someone creates a high-quality product, people will want to buy it.

We believe in well-told stories and interesting characters. Our work is different. It is classic and new at the same time.  We think people will dig it.

Are we ambitious?

YES…!

Modestly speaking, we plan on being great, but we will need your help to do it! We want to challenge the major companies some day, but right now we are just creating something we really like and we want you to like it, too.

WE WANT TO BE SELF-SUFFICIENT, AND WITH A SMALL PUSH WE CAN GET THERE.

We are trying to do more than just publish an awesome comic book or two. We are intent on building a company that will showcase the kind of great storytelling that have made comic books so exciting for decades. Do we want to shake up the industry? Of course! We also want to create a place where talented creators can entertain readers with stories that transcend trends and fads and the attitude that comics should exist only for licensing purposes. To us, every issue is important and every issue should be entertaining. 

We are asking for $7860

We want to publish two new titles beginning in the spring of 2022. With the profits we make from these two titles we believe we can keep going and, month-by-month, build a company. 

We need money to cover printing costs and to remunerate our amazing artists. The other expenses of establishing a business are coming out of our own pockets. We are completely committed to this. 

Starting with two titles printed in stunningly beautiful black and white we have a plan to expand our line and also make the jump to  publishing in captivating color.  Any funds we receive over and above our goal will go towards these next steps.

The most important thing for any new commercial endeavor is exposure. We plan on using every platform available to us to carry our message and sell our products! We know that when it comes to comic books  - as an art form and as a business - the most effective marketing is by word-of-mouth. We could talk all day about how great we think we are (and we happily will!) but what REALLY sells a comic book is that genuine moment in which one reader says to another "hey, you need to check this out."
