Good News
We have started filming The Gosnell Movie
Thank You

Today we want to share with you the news about a great
opportunity we've been given. Indiegogo has just extended an
invitation to us to join their pilot program called “Forever
Funding”. It allows projects to re-open their crowdfunding campaign
and continue raising funds.
There are 3 big reasons why we are very excited about this:
-
After our Indiegogo campaign closed, we received many
messages from people who missed the deadline but still wanted to
contribute to the project. Now, they will be able to do it online in
a safe, straight forward manner and claim their reward.
-
We cannot emphasize enough the positive feedback we received
from potential distributors of the Gosnell Movie. They saw the 26,574 contributors as a
living proof that this movie has a highly motivated audience who
will watch it and spread the word about it. Their excitement will
grow proportionally as the number of supporters grow! We want to
secure distribution for the Gosnell Movie prior to or during filming and
being able to show a big number of backers on our Indiegogo page
will be a huge help in our negotiations.
-
The truth is that our budget is extremely tight. We asked for
$2.1m in an all-or-nothing campaign and we absolutely can and will
make a movie for that amount. But given the scope and importance of
the story, we cannot help but imagine what this movie could be with
a little more help.
Based on the three reasons above, we're re-opening this campaign with
a clear purpose. Here are our stretch goals that we are hoping to
reach, and you can help us get there:
Over 100,000 backers – This is very possible. Imagine if
each of you found 3 friends and got them to contribute just ONE
DOLLAR. Here is the math: 3 friends x 26,574 + 26,574 of you =
106,296. This would be an amazingly powerful statement of support and
a message to distributors that there is a big audience wanting this
movie to be seen!
Another $300,000 to extend the shooting schedule
–
Right now we have enough funds for a three week shoot. That's the
absolute minimum we need and we'll be under a lot of pressure to fit
everything into this timeframe. With these additional funds, we would be
able to
film for one more week, which would allow us to construct more
powerful in-depth scenes and let our director and actors give their best
performances.
Another $200,000 for the actors – in low budget
movies like ours, most of the funds go to “below the line”,
fixed-cost necessities, such as equipment, filming crew and locations.
What remains, can be spent on the “talent” - the actors, and
those remaining funds dictate who you can hire. If you enjoy watching
movies, you know well what difference a very talented actor can make
on screen – it's invaluable! You can help us take a step up with
the actors we hire and make the Gosnell Movie even better.
We can do this together! Veronica Mars,
a teen detective movie that asked for $2.1m, raised $5.7m, we think
the Gosnell Movie is more important, we hope you do too. A guy in
Ohio posted a photo of a potato salad and raised $55,492... to make
potato salad. We love a good potato salad ourselves, but we think the
Gosnell Movie is more important, we hope you do too.
Please remember that every single dollar counts, every new
contributor adds to our success. You can use whatever tools you like
best: Facebook, Twitter, email, phone – to spread the word about
our new effort.
THANK YOU.
If this is your first time hearing about the Gosnell Movie, please see

Today we are launching the biggest ever crowd funding campaign to make a movie about the serial killer, abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell.
Dr.
Kermit Gosnell is the most prolific serial killer in American History,
but almost no one knows who he is.
The Grand Jury investigating Kermit Gosnell's horrific crimes said this:
This case is about a doctor who killed babies ... What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable, babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors .... Over the years, many people came to know that something was going on here. But no one put a stop to it. (Report of the Grand Jury)
Gosnell
is serving several life sentences but the media basically ignored his
crimes and his trial. They ignored the facts that emerged from the
trial, like the fact that the babies he murdered suffered terribly. Here is
what a neonatologist told the Grand Jury:
The
neonatologist testified... If a baby moves, it is alive. Equally troubling, it
feels a “tremendous amount of pain” when its spinal cord is severed. So,
the fact that Baby Boy A. continued to move after his spinal cord was
cut with scissors means that he did not die instantly. Maybe the cord
was not completely severed. In any case, his few moments of life were spent in excruciating pain. (Report of the Grand Jury)
The media don't think this is a story. Even
though Gosnell killed more people than Gary Ridgeway, John Wayne Gacey,
The Zodiac Killer and Ted Bundy combined. In a 30 year killing spree,
it is thought he killed 1000s of babies. And that wasn't a national story?

"Reserved for media" - empty seats at Gosnell trial
But Jodi Arias who was on trial at the same time as Gosnell, for killing her boyfriend, just one person, was national news.

Jodi Arias The censorship of the Gosnell story ends now.
We are raising funds for this movie through a revolutionary website called Indiegogo.
Indiegogo enables “crowdfunding” for important projects.
But here’s the catch.
We've set the budget. But if we fail to raise our target budget, Indiegogo will return all the funds, we will received nothing and the film will never be made.
Indiegogo allows us to bypass the usual funding sources for movies.
We funded our last film FrackNation using crowdfunding.
So far, the biggest “crowd funded” film of all-time is the Veronica Mars movie,
a teen detective story that asked for $2.1m and raised $5.7m, we think
the Gosnell movie is more important, we think you do too.
So we are asking for $2.1m and we are hoping to break the record and make history.
With
your help we're going to hire the best screenwriter, director and
actors to make sure that the story of Kermit Gosnell gets into every
home in America.
Please pledge right now.
We
tell a lot about ourselves by the stories we choose to tell and the
ones we want to cover up or ignore. Please help us tell this important
story.
It's a frightening testament to the power of the media that very few people even know about
Kermit Gosnell: America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer.
This is your chance to bypass the media “information gatekeepers” to get tens of millions of Americans thinking about what happened in Philadelphia.
Please send a message that we don't have to wait for someone else to tell the stories that matter, we can do it ourselves.
Please pledge right now and then please then get 10 friends to pledge.
Thank you so much for helping us make history.

At the LA premiere of our last movie FrackNation
We’re known mostly for our award-winning documentary films such as FrackNation, Mine Your Own Business, Not Evil Just Wrong, and The Search for Tristan's Mum
FrackNation was very well received by the critics. Here are just some of the positive reviews we received:
The New York Times said FrackNation was "meticulously researched....provocative"
Variety - the show business bible - said the FrackNation was a "briskly paced...mischievous pic"
In January 2013, "FrackNation" had
its TV premiere on Mark Cuban's TV channel AXS TV. It has been since
broadcast also on PBS Colorado and Canadian Sun News Network.
"FrackNation" has been also
screened all across US, Canada, Australia, Poland and the UK, the film
had a special screening at the Houses of Parliament in London, at the
European Parliament in Brussels.
