Who We Are
We are Grindhaus Brew Lab- a brewery set to open in
Clearwater, FL in 2016 and we cordially invite you to join
us on our journey. Grindhaus Brew Lab was hatched by longtime Tampa Bay craft beer ambassadors Robb Larson and Lisa Colburn, along with cohort Tony Vincenti. This same team brought HiFI Homebrew and BBQ Supply to life in 2015 and Grindhaus Brew Lab will be the brewery complement located in the expansive back area of the space.
The Brewery
Grindhaus Brew Lab will be unique. With a B and Cult movie theme, the emphasis is on fun. We take great beer seriously but not ourselves. Plenty of seating will be available in the hip, industrial tasting room. Events- including movie nights, beer tastings, and educational classes will be held throughout the year.
Our Beers
Besides our core tasty artisanal ales, we'll brew up special edition beers for the seasons and limited releases. Our beers will be full of personality with a focus on quality and drinkability. Barrel aging is something we plan to utilize.
What We Need
Our goal is to raise $15,000. This will help pay for boring building
improvements like plumbing and drainage but also for shiny new brewing toys
like the brewing system and fermenters. We’re aiming for at least a 1-3 Barrel electric
brewing system to keep 4-8 taps rockin’ out tasty beer. If we are fortunate enough to raise more we’ll
put it toward upgrading the tap system, a new video projector for those cult
and B films, and other expenses. Our space, the bar, tables & seating, grain mill, fermentation room, sound system, and more are already on-site and paid for.

Brew Labs, which of course brews beer and operate its homebrew counterpart,

The Impact
Grindhaus Brew Lab is about great beer, and more than that-
fostering a sense of community that’s often lost in today’s society. We want Grindhaus
to be a neighborhood gathering place, comfortable and inviting for local and
traveling beer lovers alike, from novice level to aficionado. Beer education is something we take seriously and
we aim to promote training through classes of all sorts on beer tasting, beer
styles, and beer history. With the craft beer scene in the US going super-size,
we prefer to stay small, fresh, and innovative. In our minds that is what craft
beer is all about and the soul of this delicious movement.
