We've made it!

Grossväterland is a comic book, that tells true war stories from some of the last living german eye witnesses of WWII as a 160 page graphic novel. It will be published in late 2015. You can preorder now – just choose a perk on the right.

• The stories are told from the perspective of the last living eyewitnesses. We don’t want to tell the history of WWII but stories from WWII
• Grossväterland is going to establish an objective view of the history via the subjectivity of the storyteller – without sugarcoating or lecturing
• For historical and sociopolitical validation of the project we are collaborating closely with historic experts and institutions

Großväterland on TV

See the following two TV features about Großväterland and the two eye witnesses Otto and Gisela from German TV stations NDR and RTL (German language):

• NDR visits our eye witness Gisela, who was 14 years old when she heard the firing of the German war ship Schleswig Holstein – the event, that startet WW2.
  
• RTL visits our eye witness Otto, who survived as a young man the Bromberg Bloddy Sunday in the early days of WW2 in Poland.
